Our Lake County ADAMHS Board system of care wants to be sure students and families have access to mental health and substance abuse supports during these difficult times. There are a number of free, anonymous supports available in the county, including hotlines/warmlines, text supports, and virtual support groups.

As anticipated, COVID-19 is spreading within our community. As of April 2, there are 62 confirmed cases of COVID-19 amongst Lake County residents, although we assume the actual number of those infected is likely much higher.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine just announced in a press conference that all schools in the State of Ohio will be closed to students from Tuesday, March 17, 2020 until at least April 3, 2020.
As you know, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine closed school buildings for students until at least April 6. But the reality is… this could last much longer. The Governor has publicly stated this remote learning situation could last through the end of the school year. Today, we want to provide several updates for you.
Our team is working diligently to ensure we’re in a state of readiness should the need to close schools be in our future.
We know there is a lot of concern swirling around the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) right now and its potential impact here in the United States and, more specifically, our own community. We have been in contact with the Lake County General Health District and are staying on top of information provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for advice and guidance. There are steps we can take to be vigilant and proactive in regard to health and wellness in our schools.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-2021 school year is underway for children who will be five years old on or before September 30, 2020. This process can be done completely online! We recommend registering children as soon as possible to make sure you're connected with us to receive important updates and information.
The purpose of the conference is to make available a time to discuss the progress of your child when either the teacher or the parent has expressed a need. It is not expected that all children's parents will have a conference. A conference request form will be coming home. The response form will give additional details.
The Quality Profile report is a comprehensive, community-oriented companion to the Ohio Department of Education’s School District Report Card. The Quality Profile includes additional accountability measures that define a high quality education – that are not captured by the state report card.
