Happy New Year and welcome back to school!! Along with bringing in the new year 2026 has brought in flu season! The difference between a normal cold and the flu is that the flu symptoms come with a fever, chills, cough, headache and stuffy nose. Sometimes it is accompanied with vomiting and/or diarrhea.
Just a reminder that your child must be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school. Also, they can return to school once they have stopped vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours. This helps to stop the spread of viruses in the classroom.
