An Exciting Time for 5th Graders: Exploring 6th Grade Music!
Your student has a big decision coming up: Band, Orchestra, or Choir? Next year, 6th graders have the chance to join one of Mentor’s music ensembles, and we want to help every family explore the options.
On Friday, December 11, all 5th graders will come to Mentor High School for a special music assembly. They’ll hear our high school musicians perform and learn about the music opportunities waiting for them in 6th grade.
Then, on Wednesday, January 20 at 7:00 PM, families are invited to 5th Grade Music Night at the Mentor Fine Arts Center. Come see the instruments up close, meet the directors, and learn more about each ensemble so you and your student can make the choice that’s right for them.
